Thanks to Craig and Barbara Bellis for representing the Newark Citizens Patrol last night!

Last night Scott and Lonnie got in a patrol. They reported that it was a quiet night with everything in its place.

Our fantastic WCSO were also in the area which we love to see.

Let’s be good neighbors.

We had some great patrols this weekend. Scott Davis and Lonnie VanSchuyver teamed up on Friday night. Next up Scott Davis and Craig Bellis hit the streets Saturday night and then Scott Davis and Jason Snow went out last night.

It was a quiet weekend for the most part. A lot of walkers were out enjoying the cooler overnight temps. A few vehicles that appeared out of place were documented. Our local businesses were watched over.

What a great weekend!

Let’s be good neighbors.

Last night Lonnie VanSchuyver picked up Scott Davis and these two represented the Newark Citizens Patrol. It was a quiet night with the most notable thing being a huge owl perched on the high fence at the end of Country Living in the 3:00a hour. So cool!

Outside of some deer spotted here and there that was about it.

Later on Saturday Lonnie spotted a Red Chevy extended cab truck approximately 2000 model heading south on Pettit with one of our Newark Citizens Patrol magnetic signs displayed on their vehicle. More than likely it is one of the ones we lost around town. This will be reported to the sherrif office on Monday unless we receive it back before then.

Let’s be good neighbors.

Sergeant Riggs stopped by today to let me see the new Mustang for the traffic enforcement division. Very impressive. Nice job WCSO and commissioners!

I asked him how he was doing. He said it was a great day in the Newark area. When a traffic enforcement officer says that you know what he means……

Our fantastic sheriff reached out on Wednesday and brought me up to speed on some staff promotions and upgrades at the animal shelter. We are very proud of the officers that are getting promoted effective 10/1 and the great work going on at the animal shelter.

The Newark Citizens Patrol is proud to be supportive of the WCSO. Great job folks!
