Unfortunately, due to the rainy weather and out of respect for the condition of the park grounds, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Oktoberfest. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

This video might be from two years ago, BUT…..Oktoberfest in Newark, DE returns THIS WEEKEND!! We can’t wait to celebrate our German heritage with a new band from Germany, !

‘Twas the night before Oktoberfest, and all through the grounds, everyone was preparing for the second best fest around. 🎪 The steins were filled 🍻, the brats were hot 🌭, in hopes that St. Paulaner soon would be caught 👑. The people were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of rollmops 🐟 and rides 🎡 danced in their heads. When out on Salem Church Rd, arose such a cheer, I sprang from my bed to see what was near. 👀 We practiced our dances 💃 and plattl’d a lot. 🕺 Down Rt 4 with joy came St. Paulaner, so bright, with a wagon of b**r and a hearty delight. He filled all the steins and turned with a nod, “Happy Oktoberfest to all, and to all a Gute Nacht!” 🍺🥨🇩🇪

Tonight Brian Schulz passed on the 2. Vorplattler pin to Jayden Biesenbach! Brian is our Vorstand but has held the 2. Vorplattler position since 1990. Jayden joins our 1. Vorplattler Tommy Keith in a dancing leadership position and we know he will do a phenomenal job as he has already proven his commitment to role over his time with the club! Here’s to the future!!
