"Major medical associations, including the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics, still endorse gender-affirming care for minors experiencing gender dysphoria, where an individual does not align with the gender they were assigned at birth. Care like this is legal in New York state, but has faced increased scrutiny under the Trump administration."

“They’re throwing trans kids aside. They’re throwing real, life-affirming, gender-affirming health care aside...I know what it’s like when a trans kid gets to become themselves, and I wish that for all trans kids. The fact that NYU [Langone] is taking this away is criminal.”

No one should be denied access to the care they need to thrive. 🗣️

Parents and advocates rallied outside the hospital after it agreed to pay $8.5 million and keep gender-affirming care closed to minors under a deal with the federal government.

Every student should have the right to play and feel safe, respected, and welcome at school. 🗣️

These teen girls just wanted to participate, but the Trump administration decided to wage war on them rather than address other vital issues in this country.

The consensus among researchers studying child development is clear: believe trans children when they tell you who they are." 📣 🏳️‍⚧️

Everyone deserves the freedom to be who they are. 🗣️

Unfortunately, as with many issues that require a basic understanding of scientific research, many adults in the United States do not understand child development.
