Birthday I Will Never Forget ( Birthday vs dramatic accident)

Today is my birthday, but life chose to remind me of its fragility in an unexpected way.
While crossing the road at the University of Juba roundabout, a motorcycle struck me suddenly, hitting my thigh and right hand and tearing my trouser from the top to the knee. In that brief moment, I didn’t even realize I was hurt , I was only afraid of falling and being seriously injured.

It was only after the rider sped away that I understood what had really happened. my clothes were torn, and I was left exposed and shaken. Yet somehow, I was still standing.

And in that moment, I felt nothing but gratitude.
Gratitude that my life was spared,
Gratitude that the injuries were minor on my hand
Gratitude that God’s protection covered me even when I didn’t see the danger coming. The devil is a liar, we are here to live
