MTF was honored to showcase the talents and testimonials of two of our beneficiaries during our 2022 Spotlight Concert Series at Beerburg Events.

Phil Hurley and Micah Wagner shared music and recovery stories to raise awareness for our mission to help uninsured & underinsured musicians with upper limb injuries to keep the music playing.

Phil and Micah are among the many artists who’ve been able to recover their livelihoods after receiving care from Dr. Alton Barron and MTF.

MTF's founding board member Elvis Costello has been busy of late!

In a moment that feels like rock & roll history coming full circle, EC and Paul McCartney reunited to appear on the final episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Two of the greatest songwriters of their generation sharing the stage once again is a reminder of the timeless power of music, collaboration, and artistry. This unforgettable appearance proved that true legends like EC & Sir Paul never stop inspiring.

EC is trekking across Europe with the Imposters and Charlie Sexton into the summer, and brings his 'Radio Soul!' tour back to the States in September! ❤️

MTF ate all the guitar cake and celebrated 75 years of a guitar great, our friend and beneficiary Van Wilks, at a rockin fete in Austin.

True to form, Van played his guitar for a good part of the evening alongside musical mates and well-wishers. Happy Birthday Van! Always good to see you keep the music playing ❤️

You know her. You love her… and we do, too!

Rosanne Cash has blessed us with many gifts. Whether sharing her music at our benefits or spreading the word about our mission as an MTF board member, we remain grateful for Rosanne’s contributions, not only to our humble nonprofit but to the world at large, both as an ambassador for the arts and a social advocate.

Please join MTF in wishing one of our most ardent artist supporters a very Happy Birthday! 🎉

An appreciation post for our friend Dr. Nathan Williams, an internationally celebrated soloist and chamber musician.

The brilliant clarinetist shared his hand injury & recovery stories with MTF and Dr. Alton Barron in 2020 as a way to encourage others who might be suffering from similar injuries to seek help.

Today, Dr. Williams performs as the principal clarinetist of ROCO in Houston. He is also a founding member of the musical trio Strata and an academic music educator.

If you are a working musician suffering from an upper limb injury, get help with confidence by reaching out to MTF. We remain dedicated to helping artists receive orthopedic care so they can keep the music playing!
