The 2026 MidSummer Gala Dinner also featured the Ireland-U.S. Council’s Award for Award for Excellence in Construction & Infrastucture presented to James Coffey, Group Chairman, J Coffey Construction and accepted by his sons, Jamie and Shane, on his behalf.

Also at our 2026 MidSummer Gala Dinner the Ireland-U.S. Council’s Award for Excellence in Enterprise Management was presented to Niall O’Leary of Regeneron, a major American biologics company which he joined in 2012 and serves as Senior Vice President at the company’s facility in Raheen, outside Limerick.

The Ireland-U.S. Council’s Award for Excellence in International Business was presented to Maurice Regan, the Founder, Chairman & CEO of the major Irish construction firm J.T. Magen & Company, at our 2026 MidSummer Gala Dinner held on Friday June 26 in the historic Round Room of Dublin’s Mansion House. Seen at the presentation were (from left) Council Ireland Chapter President Dr. Michael J. Somers with Maurice Regan and the United States Ambassador to Ireland, Edward S. Walsh.
