A reminder from Ibn al-Qayyim:

True change comes with consistency. When praising Allāh becomes a constant habit, goodness flows into one’s life without interruption.
And when seeking forgiveness becomes consistent, Allāh opens doors that once felt locked.

Small acts repeated with sincerity, carry immense impact, so remain steadfast in praise and istighfār. And trust in the openings that come from Allāh.

This coming Thursday, the 10th of Muḥarram, marks the day of ʿĀshūrāʾ.

Fasting on this blessed day is a Sunnah of the Prophet. It serves as an opportunity for us to express our gratitude towards Allāh and remember His mercy upon Mūsā (ʿalayhi al-salām).

It is recommended to fast either the 9th and 10th, the 10th and 11th, or to fast all three days for greater reward.
