APNA Community Services was proud to host our Community Appreciation Brunch, bringing together our CEC PB and TRIE partners, community leaders,and advocates who continue to serve and strengthen our neighborhoods.

We are seeking individuals ready to bring their skills, experience, professional networks, and community connections to help strengthen APNA’s governance, sustainability, and impact. Whether your background is in finance, legal and compliance, fundraising, operations, public policy, corporate leadership, or community service, we want leaders who are committed to advancing APNA’s mission and serving our communities.

Board members will help provide strategic and financial oversight, strengthen institutional relationships, support fundraising and community leadership, and help guide APNA’s continued growth.

🎒 BACK-TO-SCHOOL GIVEAWAY IN BRIGHTON BEACH! 📚✨

APNA Community Services was proud to bring our Back-to-School Giveaway to Brighton Beach on Tuesday, September 8.

Together, we served about 250 students and families with backpacks, school supplies, books, hygiene kits, and cooked halal meals to help students and families start the school year prepared and supported.

Thank you to our sponsors and community partners Rethink Food, Effective Homecare Agency, Shorefront Toys for Tots, and Cert BK DIVISION 5 for helping make this event possible.

🎒 BACK-TO-SCHOOL GIVEAWAY IN NASSAU COUNTY! 📚✨

APNA Community Services was proud to bring our Back-to-School Giveaway to Nassau County on Saturday, September 5.

Together, we served about 200 students and families with backpacks, school supplies, hygiene kits, fresh fruits, and cooked halal meals to help families prepare for the new school year.

A special thank you to the Office of Nassau County Legislator Carrie Solages Carrié Solages for welcoming APNA and providing space for this community event, and to Rethink Food for supporting our Back-to-School efforts.

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, APNA Community Services’ CEO Erum Hanif joined the NYC Emergency Management NYC Emergency Management remembrance ceremony at NYCEM headquarters to honor those who lost their lives, the first responders who answered the call, and all those who served our city.

The ceremony also brought together city officials, first responders and community leaders, including the Deputy Mayor of Operations, NYC Emergency Management Commissioner, Health and Human Resources Commissioner, and NYCEM’s Strengthening Communities team, as New York reflected on a day that forever changed our city and nation.

As we remember those we lost, we also recognize the courage, service, and resilience that continue to define New York.

We will never forget.
