SUPPORTING OUR SENIORS
This past Thursday, members of the Glen Cove Senior Center cheered as the Glen Cove SAGE Foundation presented a $35,000 contribution in support of programming, activities, and services provided through the Glen Cove Senior Center and Adult Day Program. The donation reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors throughout Glen Cove and surrounding communities.

The Glen Cove SAGE Foundation is a non-profit organization that assists the Glen Cove Senior Center in its mission to provide the highest quality programs and services addressing the physical, social, and emotional needs of area seniors age sixty and older. Through fundraising, grant writing, outreach, and advocacy, the Foundation supports both ongoing services and new initiatives benefiting local seniors.

Pictured in the foreground are SAGE Foundation President Carolyn Eipel and Glen Cove Senior Center Executive Director Christine Rice, joined by several Foundation Board Members who were able to attend the presentation.

The Foundation extends its heartfelt thanks to all those who support its work and mission, helping make contributions such as this possible and enabling the organization to continue serving seniors throughout the community.

Honoring the Life of Tony Jimenez
The members of the Glen Cove SAGE Foundation join many throughout Glen Cove and beyond in mourning the loss of Anthony “Tony” Jimenez. His passing is felt deeply by all who knew him.

Tony’s life was marked by courage, generosity, and devotion to community. From his military service to his many years of civic involvement, he consistently answered the call whenever help was needed. He carried himself with humility, strength, and sincere concern for others.

Within SAGE, Tony was a respected member of our Board of Directors and a true friend to our mission. He cared deeply about older adults and believed seniors should always be treated with dignity and respect. His presence, guidance, and encouragement were greatly valued.

We extend our sincere condolences to his wife, Kathy, his daughter, Nina, and all members of his family. Tony leaves a legacy of honor, kindness, and dedication to others. He will be remembered with gratitude and missed with great affection. Godspeed, dear friend, and thank you for your service.

2025 HOLIDAY DINNER – SAGE FOUNDATION�Members of the SAGE Foundation board and their families gathered this week for a holiday dinner at La Bussola. The evening was a chance to celebrate the season, reflect on the year, and recognize the shared commitment to supporting the Glen Cove Senior Center.
