We provide vital support to families in our community—especially single-parent households—helping with essentials like day camp, clothing, and more. Together with local partners, we’re creating real impact, one family at a time

Bergen Yad is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families in Bergen County who are facing financial hardship. We focus especially on single-parent households and those navigating difficult life transitions, offering resources that help restore stability, dignity, and hope.

Our Mission:
To ensure that no child is left behind due to circumstances beyond their control.

What We Do:
We provide essential assistance—like day camp tuition, clothing, school supplies, and other everyday needs—to families working hard to make ends meet. Every act of support is handled with compassion and discretion, because we believe help should uplift, not label.

Collaboration and Community:
Bergen Yad proudly partners with local schools, synagogues, and other nonprofit organizations to identify needs and deliver meaningful, targeted help. Together, we’re building a stronger, more united Bergen County.
