About half of people living with migraine report that their attacks happen at the same time each day.

This may be related to circadian rhythms, the body’s internal 24-hour clock.

A brain region called the hypothalamus, which helps regulate sleep and biological timing, is also active during migraine attacks.

Researchers are still working to understand this connection.
