Mission Statement
Community & social Change aims to become a forum/blog that explores the human community by how neighborhoods deal with social change. Neighborhoods face demands to respond to outside pressures of economical, social and political forces that might impose views that hurt the desires of the community. Finding a path to change those pressures begins with having a dream. That dream ca
n form through a concept by gaining details about how to analyze those forces. Then the path seeks to share information with neighborhoods about reaching a new life. Our mission is to find those dreams, formed through literature and the screen and how community leaders pick up on those dreams. Then we explore how other communities found ways to counter obstacles. Through this forum, we seek to see how the real estate and development sector can work with activists in conflict resolution and nonviolent resistance for the benefit of the entire community. Community & Social Change brings news about business, finance, legal and poverty issues that strike at the heart of local neighborhoods. The site displays one topic, such as the effect of Walmart Stores on neighborhoods, by looking at several angles. A synopsis of methods used by other communities show how alternatives exist.
