We are a registered 501c3 established in 2015 that has rescued over 10,000 dogs and cats nationwide. Thinking about adopting a new family member?

Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, rescues puppies and dogs from high kill shelters, owner surrenders, puppy mill throw always and medically neglected and suffering dogs and give them the proper medical care, then we do our best to find them the perfect home. We are deeply committed to healing the physical and emotional wounds these animals have suffered. We firmly believe that there is a great home out there

for every puppy and dog. We are a group of volunteers with a desire to help save all animals. We believe with the proper love and care any dog or puppy can grow into their potential of being a beloved family pet. We adopt pets in the following states: Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. 💤 Night night from Dustin... because nobody sleeps quite like a puppy. ❤️

At just 3 months old, Dustin has perfected the art of finding the comfiest spot, letting out one big sigh, and snuggling up as close as possible. One day, that cozy spot could be right by your side.

Dustin's journey didn't start with soft beds and bedtime snuggles. He and his littermates were found abandoned on the side of the road with no mom in sight. A non-contagious skin condition had left Dustin with very little fur, but he's now getting the care he needs, and his coat is slowly growing in. We already know one thing for sure—he's just as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside.

Sydney is an 18-month-old, 14-pound Chihuahua mix who was rescued from a shelter while heavily pregnant. Safe in foster care, she raised her two puppies with love—and now that they're grown, this sweet mama is ready for a forever home of her own.

Coco is the kind of dog who stops you in your tracks—not because she’s loud or flashy, but because her spirit reaches you before anything else does.

At 6 years old, this petite French Bulldog has already lived a lifetime. When she was rescued from the shelter, Coco was heartbreakingly thin, her body telling the story of someone who had been overlooked for far too long. But her eyes… her eyes still held hope. And her fur—soft, velvety, impossibly gorgeous—seemed determined to shine again, no matter what she’d been through.

🌧️ While everyone else is complaining about the rain this week, 7-month-old Roscoe is living his best life.

Give this boy a puddle and he's in heaven! Splashing, zooming, and having the time of his life. (Pools, on the other hand? He's still deciding if those giant puddles can really be trusted. 😂)

The first thing people say when they meet Roscoe is, "He's SO happy!" And they're absolutely right. This tripod pup wakes up every day ready to see what adventure is next. He's endlessly curious, loves exploring new places, and rarely lets anything make him nervous. Missing a front leg? Roscoe doesn't seem to have gotten the memo. He wrestles with the big dogs, keeps up with them just fine, and never lets three legs slow him down.

Roscoe is wonderful with other dogs, unbothered by cats, loves kids and people, and is doing fantastic with his basic obedience and housetraining. He's proof that it's about embracing every puddle, every adventure, and every new friend along the way.

2 year old Hatcher is a big-hearted Boxer mix with a playful personality and a story of resilience. Rescued as a puppy after being found with a devastating burn along his back, Hatcher has overcome so much and is ready for the loving home he deserves.
This sweet, goofy boy loves his people, takes treats gently, and has a fun personality that keeps everyone smiling — including his adorable talent for doing the splits!
Hatcher is full of energy and enthusiasm. He enjoys playtime, attention, and canine friends, but he needs slow introductions since he can get very excited and jumpy when meeting other dogs. A home without cats would be best. He would do well with a dog sibling who enjoys his playful spirit.
Hatcher is still working on leash manners and would thrive with an adopter who is patient, consistent, and ready to continue his training. He’s a curious, busy boy who loves to explore and may need reminders that not everything is a chew toy! He’s also working on his excitement when guests arrive, so his future family should be prepared to help him learn that every person walking through the door and every package delivery isn’t automatically an invitation for a celebration.
With his sweet heart, silly personality, and zest for life, Hatcher is looking for a family who will embrace his quirks and help him continue to grow into the amazing companion he’s meant to be.

FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED THIS WEEKEND

Meet Rye. Have you ever seen a dog who you have been told “his time is up” & you decide you just cannot let that happen? There was so special reason & no plan, just a feeling. Maybe it’s his sweet face or his sad eyes. Whatever it was, Rye touched us. His story is one we hear every day. There is nothing wrong with Rye; he’s super sweet & good with dogs. He’s just unlucky enough to be missing most of his fur in an overcrowded SC shelter. He’s also a senior which doesn’t help his cause. Today was Rye’s lucky day & he is now safe at our vet partner getting medical care.

Rye is 8 years old & 40 pounds & we think he is the sweetest boy! 🩵💎💙🐾

Fair warning: one look into those big Beagle eyes, and your heart may never recover. ❤️🐾 3-month-old Beagle mix sisters, Bella and Bailey, are tiny, gentle, and overflowing with puppy charm.

🌼 Bella loves chasing butterflies, curling up in your lap, and making every day a little brighter.
🥹 Bailey is a little shadow who wants to be wherever you are, convinced she was meant to fit perfectly in your arms.

Both girls are crate-trained, wonderful with people and other dogs, and have the kind of sweet, happy personalities that make it impossible not to smile.

The most soulful eyes you'll ever meet. Darcy is the definition of a rags-to-riches story... except she's still writing the "riches" chapter.

This sweet girl was found abandoned in a garbage dump on the side of the road, discarded like she didn't matter. As soon as we learned about her, we stepped in to get her to safety. She was rushed to the vet, given a warm place to stay, regular meals, and the care she'd been missing for far too long.

Even though she was crying in pain as she was carried to safety, her tail never stopped wagging.

Darcy acts like she's already won the lottery—and maybe she has. But the real jackpot will be the family lucky enough to call her their own.

She's incredibly sweet, loves people, enjoys other dogs, and is ready to leave her past exactly where it belongs. (Cats, however, are not on her guest list. 😄)

If you're looking for a dog whose gratitude shines through every wag, every cuddle, and every look, Darcy is waiting to write the happiest chapter of her story—with you.
