Rescue Dogs Rock NYC We are a registered 501c3 established in 2015 that has rescued over 10,000 dogs and cats nationwide. Thinking about adopting a new family member?

Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, rescues puppies and dogs from high kill shelters, owner surrenders, puppy mill throw always and medically neglected and suffering dogs and give them the proper medical care, then we do our best to find them the perfect home. We are deeply committed to healing the physical and emotional wounds these animals have suffered. We firmly believe that there is a great home out there for every puppy and dog. We are a group of volunteers with a desire to help save all animals. We believe with the proper love and care any dog or puppy can grow into their potential of being a beloved family pet. We adopt pets in the following states: Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. MOLLIE — A SURVIVOR WITH A HEART FULL OF LOVE

Mollie is just 2 years old, but she has already endured more than any dog should. And somehow, she still looks at the world with hope in her eyes. This beautiful Doodle girl was found as a stray with a cable tightly wrapped around her leg, causing a painful injury. When we saw her at the shelter, we knew we couldn’t leave her behind.

After a much-needed spa day and some medical care, Mollie emerged looking like a brand-new dog: soft, clean, fluffy, and sporting the cutest jet-black nose. 🥰

But her best feature is her heart.

Mollie is friendly, gentle, and trusting with people, wonderful with other dogs, and loves children. She leans into affection like she’s making up for all the love she missed.

Now she’s ready for a home where she will never be overlooked again. A home where she is cherished, protected, and adored.

Mollie has survived enough. Now she’s ready to simply be loved.❤️🐾

Have you ever seen a cuter puppy pile? 🥹 Probably not.
Say hello to Cody & Courtney, two 2-month-old Pit Bull Terrier mixes who are officially ready to leave shelter life behind and start their next chapter with families of their own!

🐾 Cody is the sweet, wiggly boy with the perfect black-and-pink nose. He’s gentle, curious, loves people and dogs, and is always up for cuddles, playtime, or a little adventure.

🐾 Courtney is his equally adorable sister, complete with her signature little brown spot on her head. She’s happy, friendly, and loves meeting new people and pups.

They may look like matching little snowballs, but each one has a personality all their own. Could Cody or Courtney be your new best friend?

🚨 WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME - FOSTER NEEDED FOR CITRUS BY SEPTEMBER 5! 🚨

This 6-year-old, 55-lb Pit Bull mix is truly a sweetheart. She loves people, dogs, and cats, is house-trained, and is happiest doing what she does best: snuggling and relaxing on the couch. 🥰

Citrus can do short flights of stairs, but she’d much prefer a comfy bed on the first floor where she can settle in and relax. She also only has one eye, but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying life! She doesn’t need long walks — she’s much more interested in a cozy spot beside you anyway. ❤️

She’s an easygoing, affectionate girl who doesn’t ask for much beyond love, comfort, and someone to call her own.

Can you give Citrus a safe place to land? Even better, maybe you’ll be the person who helps her find her forever home. 🐾

When Baby Doll first came into foster, she was hand shy. Human touch was something she didn’t yet fully understand or trust. Every gentle hand came with a little uncertainty.

Now? She’s learning that hands can bring comfort, kindness, and love. ❤️
This sweet moment is proof of how far she has come — the result of patience, compassion, and letting Baby Doll move at her own pace.

At around 7 years old, this adorable little Yorkie mix is still waiting for the forever family she’s worked so hard to be ready for.

Baby Doll is a quiet little shadow who loves following her people, gets along well with other dogs, enjoys food puzzles, and does the cutest little twirl when it’s mealtime. She has seizures that are well managed with medication given every 8 hours, and she’s looking for a calm, patient adult home that understands her needs and will continue helping her feel safe. A small canine companion would be a wonderful bonus.

The hardest part isn’t teaching Baby Doll to trust anymore.

It’s finding the family willing to show this incredibly deserving little girl the love and happiness she’s been waiting for.

BUDDY — THOSE BABY BLUE EYES SHOULD BE ILLEGAL.

Buddy is a 2-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix with gorgeous blue eyes, a giant smile, and absolutely no idea how handsome he is. Which is probably for the best because his ego is already big enough. 😂

Buddy is great with people, kids, and other dogs and would love an active family to keep up with his happy-go-lucky personality. Cats, however? He’d prefer to keep the relationship strictly professional.

Buddy’s story didn’t start out so happily. He was found chained outside without food or water, severely emaciated and in desperate need of help. RDRNYC stepped in immediately, and after dedicated veterinary care and lots of small meals, this boy is finally thriving.

Now Buddy has discovered something pretty amazing: life is actually really good.

The only thing missing? A family. 🥹

He’s ready for a home filled with love, adventures, good food, comfy beds, and people who will never let him wonder where his next meal — or his next belly rub — is coming from.

At just 2 months old, Sammie is already proving she’s got places to go and a whole lot of living to do!

This adorable little mix was found abandoned at a beach shack, where some kind workers took her in and cared for her until they could get her the help she needed. Now she’s safe, loved, and having the time of her life in foster care. ❤️

Sammie is sweet, playful, and good with people and other dogs. She’s ready for a family who will give her all the love, belly rubs, adventures, and puppy fun she deserves.

Her rough start is behind her — now it’s time for the happy ending.

MINI & MOLLY — TWO LITTLE SURVIVORS, ONE BIG SECOND CHANCE! 🐾
Both girls are approximately 7 years old and were found abandoned together in a junk pile during 107-degree heat. It’s hard to imagine how frightening, hot and uncomfortable that must have been, but thankfully, they found safety with us.

🩷 Mini is bright, affectionate, loyal, and full of personality. She may be little, but she has a huge heart and is ready to be someone’s devoted companion.

💜 Molly is playful, curious, confident, and energetic, with the kind of personality that will keep you smiling. She’s ready to explore life with a family of her own.

These girls have survived enough. Now they deserve soft beds, full bowls, safe homes, and people who will love them for the rest of their lives.

Mini & Molly are ready for their happily ever after.

MEET CECE & HER SIX LITTLE CHIHUAHUA MIXES!
CeCe is an 8-year-old Chihuahua mix who was rescued from a backyard breeder just days after giving birth to six puppies. After spending her life having babies, this sweet mama is finally getting the chance to be loved simply for being CeCe.

She’s sweet, calm, and wonderful with people and other dogs. For now, she’ll stay by her babies’ side, giving them the safe, loving start she never had.

And those babies? They’re growing fast and will soon be ready for forever homes!

Seven little lives. So many happy endings ahead.
