We did it. 💙
My autistic 8-year-old son and I completed the Spartan Race together in New Jersey — muddy, tired, proud, and deeply grateful.
He has been running Spartan since he was just 4 years old, and watching him take on each obstacle with courage, joy, and determination reminded me exactly why this mission matters.
This race was about more than the finish line.
It was about resilience.
It was about inclusion.
It was about showing what neurodiverse children are capable of when they are supported, encouraged, and believed in.
In less than 24 hours, we raised $75 for The Nisnevich Institute for Neurodiverse Empowerment. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, encouraged us, or cheered us on.
We are still fundraising toward our $1,500 goal to support advocacy, education, family support, and community-building for neurodiverse children and their families.
A gift of $25 sponsors one obstacle — and every donation helps us move this mission forward.
Please donate or share through the link in bio. Thank you for helping us make every obstacle count.
