We did it. 💙

My autistic 8-year-old son and I completed the Spartan Race together in New Jersey — muddy, tired, proud, and deeply grateful.

He has been running Spartan since he was just 4 years old, and watching him take on each obstacle with courage, joy, and determination reminded me exactly why this mission matters.

This race was about more than the finish line.

It was about resilience.
It was about inclusion.
It was about showing what neurodiverse children are capable of when they are supported, encouraged, and believed in.

In less than 24 hours, we raised $75 for The Nisnevich Institute for Neurodiverse Empowerment. Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, encouraged us, or cheered us on.

We are still fundraising toward our $1,500 goal to support advocacy, education, family support, and community-building for neurodiverse children and their families.

A gift of $25 sponsors one obstacle — and every donation helps us move this mission forward.

Please donate or share through the link in bio. Thank you for helping us make every obstacle count.

Tomorrow, my autistic 8-year-old son and I are running the Spartan Race in New Jersey together.

He has been running Spartan since he was 4 years old — and every year, I watch him meet each obstacle with courage, joy, and determination.

This year, we’re running for something bigger than the finish line.

We’re raising funds for The Nisnevich Institute for Neurodiverse Empowerment to support neurodiverse children and the families who advocate for them every day.

Every obstacle on the course represents something real: the barriers families face in schools, services, public spaces, and daily life — and the strength it takes to keep going.

Our goal is $1,500.

A gift of $25 sponsors one obstacle, and any amount helps us move this mission forward.

Please donate through the link in my bio, or share this post with someone who believes neurodiverse children deserve support, dignity, and opportunity.

Tomorrow, we run together.
For resilience.
For inclusion.
For neurodiverse children.

We didn’t hit our goal. But we did build momentum.

Our Spartan fundraiser for neurodiverse kids raised $322. It’s not enough for a full camp—but it’s enough to begin.

I’m using what we raised to explore a small pilot for families with no summer options—and I’m still fundraising quietly in the background.

Missed your chance to support? It’s not too late. Link in bio. Every dollar helps.

Thank you to those who believed in this work. You helped me cross a finish line that mattered. 💙
