Going to Readercon this weekend? Come hang out with members of the Arisia Hiatus Committee and other fellow Arisians on the patio at Readercon! Saturday from 10 to 11:30 am in Burlington, Massachusetts.

The patio is located in the convention hotel at the end of the hall with Envision, Enliven, etc. function rooms at the door past the Collaborate room.

UPDATE ON ART SHOW PAYMENTS TO ARTISTS

Normally Arisia Art Show payments are seen by artists 4-6 weeks after the convention closes.
For those of you who may not be aware, Art Show sales on Friday had to fall back to paper when our online sales database hosting provider took our database down for maintenance without telling us first. We have all the info but it takes a little longer to collate hundreds of pieces of paper than it does to get the sales figures out of a computer. Payments are being processed and are being sent to artists but, it will take a bit longer than usual to get all of them out. Thank you for your patience.

Arisia Time Machine takes us back to the the blizzard of 2005, which shut down major roads and extended Arisia into Monday (back then it was just a 3-day con).

This participant-run market is a place to give away unwanted items, trade collectibles, and swap trinkets in the true spirit of fannish sharing. Heading home? Bake some muffins for tomorrow's Muffin Walk -- Monday 1:30 PM -- Amesbury Ballroom
Feeling peckish? Join the Muffin Walk! Anyone who brings six or more muffins may participate. All donated muffins will be placed on a communal table, and each participant may take up to six muffins for free. Extra muffins will be distributed via a musical lottery in the tradition of old-fashioned cake walks. Come trade, nibble, and maybe walk away with a delicious surprise!
