A new Daughter Dialogues short film for America’s 250th.

"She Walked Through: 250 Years Later."

"She Walked Through: 250 Years Later" follows women of African American lineage who uncovered Black, white, and American Indian men and women who contributed to the American Revolution. Then they walked through the doors of the Daughters of the American Revolution, carrying those stories with them.

America’s founding story is richer when we hear the women who carried it forward.

Their ancestors may have opened the door.

But these women decided what to do once they walked through it.
