Colors Foundation promotes positive youth development through the expression of art by providing grants and donations to small organizations in our local communities of New York and New Jersey. We believe that it is crucial for youth to express their ideas in a variety of ways, such as writing, music, dance, painting, photography, and theatre. The motivation for expression is what creates the art.

It is our mission to inspire these expressions in our young people, to build their creativity, communication skills, and critical thinking skills, and to nurture their social and emotional development. In doing this, we strive to strengthen the community as a whole. was launched in 2015 by José Mendez and Katie Graziano as a way to focus their family's charity work and deepen their involvement with the community.
