Our classes continued with the DRC and this time with th SPARK training. Upon their request we conducted our training at their own premises for around 9 kids and the incharge. They were very much interested and engaged as it was a new topic to them. We believe this training will help them in the future even after they leave the organization. We wish them a luck!

To teach about First-Aid and also to add up little more to their existing knowledge through demonstration and practical session, we visited Bal Shirjanalaya School located at Aarubari, Kathmandu and conducted a FLARE teaching for the seventh graders.

Let’s have some knowledge about health as well beside your regular activities.
A group of women who attend the tailoring class at the Disabled Rehabilitation Center, Gokarna were the part of our class this week. We initiated the teaching to give them basic idea of first aid and how important it is in our daily life. Thank you Ms. Pema Shrestha again for wonderfully conducting the training.

This weekend, Thrive Nepal team had an opportunity to carry out our FLARE program with children of Disabled Rehabilitation Center (DRC), Gokarna, Kathmandu. Thank you to the DRC family for the opportunity and again Ms. Pema Shrestha for leading the class. Along with that, we would like to welcome Ms. Dolma Hyolmo in the team.

Thank you for the opportunity. Finally after a long planning, we are able to make this happen. It was a great experience for us having a class with the teachers, we had a great time. Thanks to all the teachers for actively participating, the school team for cooperation and especially thanks to Mr. Tsering Ngetup for his effort for making this happen.
At last but not the least our sincere gratitude to our volunteer nurse Ms. Pema Shrestha for conducting the training so well and making it effective with her years of experience and knowledge.

Before leaving for the village to celebrate Dashain, we wanted to educate these kids from carpet factory by providing solar energy syatem training. We had total of six kids who were very curious to learn something new besides their regular activities. This was totally a new experience for them as they do not learn such kind of practical knowledge neither in school nor in the community. We are very happy to have trained them and hopefully they will be able to help their community and themselves with the skill.

This week we jumped into something different from our usual program/training. We tried to focus on something which has been taking the global market right now, i.e Climate Change and Global Warming. In collaboration with Global Peace Foundation Nepal we decided to conduct a day program to give a basic idea of Climate Change to the youths.Thank you Mr. Phurpa Lama, the Country Manager of Climate Reality Project Nepal for wonderful presentation.
