Today, on the 11th Annual Day of Remembrance, we honor the nine lives lost at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, and pledge that their memory will never be forgotten.

You are not alone. We are with you in pain.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Senior Pastor Dr. Eric S.C. Manning, the parishioners of Mother Emanuel Church, families of the victims, and the survivors as they mark this difficult day.

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of our dear colleague and friend Rovshan Muradov, Secretary-General and one of the founding members of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center.

Rovshan was a force of goodness, whose life mission was to better the world and unite people. In his young life, he left an indelible mark and will be sorely missed.

On Wednesday, April 29, in the Golders Green neighborhood of London, an individual approached two Jewish men with a knife and stabbed them multiple times, in an unprompted attack that has been declared an act of terror.

According to the Community Security Trust (CST), there have been 3,700 recorded antisemitic incidents in the UK in 2025 alone, the second-highest total on record. 1,844 of those incidents were recorded in the Greater London area.

The Appeal of Conscience Foundation stands up against antisemitism and all forms of hatred, and remains in solidarity with the United Kingdom’s Jewish Community in the wake of this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims as they recover.

Today, we honor the victims of the terrorist su***de bombings that took place at three churches during Easter Mass, along with several other coordinated attacks at locations throughout Sri Lanka. On April 21, 2019, these attacks took the lives of 269 people and injured an additional 500.

On the anniversary of the deaths of these worshippers and so many more, we honor their memory and continue to work towards a future where no one will have to live in fear of visiting a house of worship.
