Give Globally Foundation is seeking several new Indian members only as Board of Directors for its India programs. And we’d love to hear from YOU if any of the following are true:
• You believe in SDGs, Nonprofit development, a pluralistic, welcoming future for us all, regardless of your own political, non-political, religious or non-religious beliefs;
• You’d like to serve the public, promote entrepreneurship to end poverty, have a strong desire to work on ZERO HUNGER in your nation and give back to your community under the first five global goals;
• You’ve wanted to gain experience serving on a non-profit Board and have strong financial background to do a donation for the organisation;
• You’d like to contribute your skills, talents, passion, and unique perspective to the important work we do.
Who We Are
Give Globally Foundation is going to be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and the only global organization, initiated by an Indian National, Arizona State University alumni, dedicated to atheist, humanist, and other non-theist people. Our mission is to empower People through the norms of SDGs to proudly express their identity, build welcoming communities, promote secular values, and set a course for lifelong activism. We support the growing population of entrepreneurship with:
• Community, via more than 500 Members in different states across the country;
• Programs, like Global Action for Transforming India (GATI); Local Indians Financial Inclusion, Entrepreneurship and Empowerment (LIFIEE), National Level School Ranking (NLSR);
• Events, like our 2024 International Conference on Sustainable Development Goals; Recognition and financial assistance, via our Incubator program;
• Advocacy and litigation on behalf of Indian Nonprofits;
• A diverse array of educational and organizational resources.

The GGF Board
GIVE GLOBALLY FOUNDATION’s Board of Directors provides organizational leadership, strategic governance, and financial oversight; it also assists with organizational fundraising. Overall Board responsibilities include:
• Reviewing and approving, as appropriate, GIVE GLOBALLY FOUNDATION’s annual budget, audit reports, and material business decisions; being informed of (and meeting) all legal and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Selecting, supervising, and supporting GIVE GLOBALLY FOUNDATION’s Executive Director- India.
• Strategic and organizational planning.
Individual Board Member responsibilities include:
• Serving on one committee; our standing committees include: Development, Governance, Finance, and Executive.
• Attending the quarterly meetings of our full Board, which are held virtually in Aigist and November of each year, and in-person in June and September (often in New Delhi/ Ahmedabad in India; sometimes held in conjunction with our international conference, which is in New York, United States this year).
• Participation in Committee and Board meetings that are informed, and promote critical thinking, healthy debate, and the effective function of the Board as a governing body.

Give Globally Foundation
The Give Globally Foundation empowers secular students to proudly express their identity, build welcoming communities, promote secular values, and set a course for lifelong activism. We envision a future in which secular students lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, thrive as valued members of society and provide visionary leadership committed to humanist ideals and critical inquiry.
Expectations of the Give Globally Foundation Board of Directors
(As A Whole):
The Board of Directors is responsible for:
● determining the mission and purposes of the Give Globally Foundation.
● selecting and evaluating the performance of the Executive Director.
● strategic and organizational planning.
● ensuring strong fiduciary oversight and financial management.
● fundraising and other resource development.
● enhancing the Give Globally Foundation’s public image.
● assessing individual and group performance as the governing body of the Give Globally Foundation.
Expectations of the Give Globally Foundation Board of Directors
(As Individuals):
Each member of the Give Globally Foundation Board of Directors is expected to:
● know and uphold the Give Globally Foundation’s mission, policies, programs, and needs.
● faithfully and completely read and understand the Give Globally Foundation’s financial statements,
especially prior to approving a budget.
● be an organizational member of the Give Globally Foundation.
● give a meaningful personal financial contribution.
● participate fully in at least two committees, one of which must be a standing committee.
● monitor and respond to Give Globally Foundation emails promptly.
● prepare for, attend, and conscientiously participate in Board meetings.
● participate in fundraising efforts as directed by the Development Committee.
● sign an annual conflict of interest disclosure and update it during the year if necessary.
● maintain confidentiality about all internal matters of the organization.
● be smart, energetic, and passionate about the secular student movement.
● leverage connections, networks, and personal resources to develop collective action that will help
fully achieve the Give Globally Foundation’s mission.
● identify personal connections that can benefit the Give Globally Foundation’s fundraising and
reputational standing.
Length of Service
The seats that are available this year have terms of life time, four years and three years. A full term is four years. The entry requirements are different and differs as per the terms.
Time Commitment
Expectations vary, but generally, Board members are expected to spend 55-60 hours per month on GIVE GLOBALLY FOUNDATION business.
Financial Commitment
Every member of the GIVE GLOBALLY FOUNDATION Board is expected to make a “personally significant” contribution to the organization each year. Ideally, GIVE GLOBALLY FOUNDATION should be one of the top three organizations in your annual giving; we don’t have a minimum threshold because we have Nonprofit Board Members, and because we don’t want to exclude people who can provide value in other ways. That said, each member of the Board also meets with the Chair of the Development Committee to discuss other ways they can support GIVE GLOBALLY FOUNDATION financially (for instance, by fundraising within their personal networks).
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
• Experience and accomplishments in business, government, philanthropy, or the non-profit sector.
• A natural affinity for cultivating relationships and building consensus among diverse individuals.
• An understanding of (and/or a commitment to) secularism, atheism, and humanism.
• Personal qualities of integrity and credibility.
• A passion for improving the lives of people in below Poverty Line (BPL) with community/ secular values.
Benefit:
All the board member, actively taking part in the organisation development, expansion of its donors and program, will receive a 6% of total turnover of the organisation or 20000 USD whichever is highest, as the Honorarium for their contribution and each year a free trip to USA to attend the meeting for three years.
