In this week's Just One Thought, Ari Z. Greene explores the beautiful words of Birkat Kohanim and the Torah's powerful message that true blessing is found in shalom—peace. Through the lens of Parshat Naso, he shares how small acts of compassion, support, and kindness can bring hope and dignity to those facing uncertainty and challenge, and how each of us has the ability to become a source of blessing in someone else's life.

Love your fellow as yourself…
But what does that really mean?

It starts with you.
What would you need in your hardest moment?

And then—giving that to someone else.

That’s exactly what Just One Life does every single day for mothers in Israel.

On Yom Hazikaron, we remember.
The lives lost. The families forever changed.

But remembrance is not only about the past—
it’s about what we choose to do because of it.

Even in times of loss…
even in times of fear…

we choose life.

“Vayidom Aharon.”
Sometimes the greatest strength… is silence.

After Pesach, when inspiration fades,
real life begins again.

And in Israel, mothers are living that reality every day—
choosing life, even in the hardest moments.

Be part of their strength. Help us support them. https://link.givesuite.com/sp/f356533935c

With Israel at war once again, Just One Life is supporting pregnant women and young mothers across Israel — many spending their days in bomb shelters while their husbands serve on the front lines.

In Parshat Ki Tisa, a moment of fear led the Jewish people to build the Golden Calf… but that same generation was later called to build the Mishkan, a place of holiness and hope.

The Torah reminds us that even in moments of uncertainty, the question is always the same:

What will we choose to build?

Even in the middle of war, new Jewish life continues to grow.

Shabbat Shalom,

With heartfelt gratitude,

Holiness isn’t only in miracles.

It’s in responsibility.
It’s in compassion.
It’s in showing up.

Parshat Mishpatim reminds us that saving a life is the ultimate act of responsibility.

“Hearing isn’t enough.”

Judaism doesn’t ask us only to feel — it asks us to act.
In this short Torah thought on Parshat Yitro, Rabbi Daniil Glanz reminds us that Shema means hearing the call… and responding to it.

That’s what Just One Life does every day.
Compassion → responsibility → action.
