Every year SAFA presents a Chinese culture themed opening ceremony at the Times Square New Year's Eve Countdown. SAFA also showcases traditional elements of Chinese culture at the Macy's annual Flower Show and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The organization regularly collaborates with ABC Television to film the most compelling travel destinations in China to enhance inbound tourism development. SAFA also holds close partnerships with both the NBA and MLB, and has successfully held the event, “Chinese Culture Tourism Night” for eight consecutive years in a row, attracting an on-site audience of over one million people and one billion television viewers from all over the world. SAFA has cultural alliances through strategic partnerships to further promote and advance US-China diplomacy and tourism development in order to cultivate strong relationships based on mutual understanding and friendship.
