In order to qualify for and obtain full benefits from SAVED, deserving artists must demonstrate and consistently maintain a desired level of the following core attributes:

Maturity, poise, and professionalism;
Responsibility and reliability;
Compassion, empathy, and concern for others;
Honesty and integrity;
High degree of character;

Loyalty and a desire to ‘pay it forward’;
Appreciation and respect for diversity;
Chemical free and drinking only in moderation;
Welcoming personality and socialization skills;
Leading by example and a positive role model;
Requisite technical skills and performance ability;

Demonstrated humility and gratitude for external recognition.

Upon completion of SAVED's free educational program, select benefits provided to Sponsored/Supported Artists, for up to a ten year developmental period, may include the following:

Active (one-on-one) career management and mentoring;
Compensation for approved artistic performances and rehearsals;
Technical skill building workshops and training (e.g., voice, acting, musicianship, dance, etc.);
Professional services (e.g., photography, legal assistance, tax preparation, media/web development, public relations, relationship coaching, etc.);
Housing assistance, furnishings, etc.;
Travel assistance (subway, train, bus, air);
Fashion (clothing and accessories);
Nutritional assistance (food and counseling);
Health and wellness (group fitness classes);
Use of equipment, instrumentation, office supplies and materials;
Student loan payment assistance;
Emergency financial assistance (low interest loans);
Medical and Dental Insurance;
Retirement / Pension planning; and
Alternative career counseling, training, and hands-on practical work experience (the "Plan B").

SAVED is proud to sponsor two tables to the Monday (April 30th) concert “Songs by Us” at 7 pm at Joe’s Pub. This is an exciting Musical Theatre Company production of all new songs from the Women and Trans Writers Round-table, which over 60 of the most talented women and trans folks in New York are working on and/or performing in. If you (or someone you know) would like to be our invited guest for this event at no charge, including an additional $20 food and drink allowance, please write to [email protected] by Sunday evening and include a brief statement of your interest in attending. All tickets will be randomly assigned at midnight on Sunday with confirmation emails sent out immediately thereafter.

Thanks to all the emerging artists and MTF members who came out on Sunday, despite the Superbowl, to hear more about SAVED.

In total, nearly $1,200 in prizes were awarded to those in attendance! The ten lucky winners are pictured below :-) The grand prize of a $500 night on the town, including dinner for two and orchestra seats to a Broadway show, went to Andrew Hanley!
