At the top of 2025, we launched Vsnwks Community Corp with a bold mission: to build faith-forward, founder-focused ecosystems that empower entrepreneurs and drive economic justice. Now halfway through the year, we are amazed by all we’ve accomplished — and this week, we celebrated a major milestone with our first Board Retreat.

A heartfelt thank you to the leaders who shared their time, talent, and treasure with us:

🔹 Shea Stanley(), Founder of Perfectly Imperfect, guided us through the essentials of board governance, advocacy, and showing up authentically as effective board members.

🔹 Jice Johnson (), Founder and Executive Director of the EDA for Black Communities, delivered a powerful session on how institutions — like ours — can shift power, culture, and outcomes for generations.

🔹 Michael Hicks, Tax Accountant at , broke down the financial recordkeeping every board should understand — with clarity and conviction. And special shoutout to Alysha Pruitt Harvey for ALWAYS championing my work and sending support.

🔹 Joshua Crump, .co Chief of Staff, closed us out with a creative session on brand storytelling and helped us explore how to position our work to the world.

This retreat reminded us that we’re building something that matters — and we’re doing it with intention.
