Simon will be riding across America to raise funds and awareness for kids with bone Cancer, which can lead to amputation. His journey will start in New York City on the East Coast of the USA and take him to Santa Monica in California. His life has been blessed with many amazing moments... so many while on his bicycles or motorbikes... but now it’s time to really do something with his lifelong passion for adventure and being outside... In 2019 during his 50th year, Simon will ride his bicycle across USA and along the way he’ll bike with others who share his passion for riding, but more importantly those who are affected by bone Cancer. He encourages you to pass on the word that kids’ bone Cancer should be prevented in the 21st Century as we now have the medical professionals and technology to do this... His life has been touched by Cancer, sadly losing both parents to the disease in 2002 and 2008. Earlier in 1999 he supported his young wife to fight her Stage 3 and 4 Cancers into remission. She’s now a 19 year survivor thanks to her amazing will and fighting spirit to live coupled with a brilliant oncologist named Dr. Lynn Ratner.
