Never Forget: 25 Years Later
Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001—a day that reshaped our nation and forever altered the trajectory of our community.
A quarter of a century later, the brothers of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Motorcycle Club pause to remember the 2,977 innocent lives taken in New York City, Shanksville, and the Pentagon. We honor the extraordinary courage of the first responders who rushed toward unimaginable danger without hesitation.
For the EOD brotherhood, 9/11 also ignited over two decades of relentless conflict. It called our technicians into harm’s way across arid deserts, rugged mountains, and hostile roads—stepping forward between the blast and everyone else. We carry the memories of our fallen technicians etched into our hearts, and we ride with the wounded who still carry the scars of that mission every day.
Time passes, but the bond does not fray, and the promise does not expire.
To the families who lost everything that morning, to the Gold Star families of the long war that followed, and to everyone who stood the watch: we remember.
Initial Success or Total Failure. We will never forget.
