What’s the point of war?
Trump just made a statement that is already turning heads. According to him, the United States no longer needs foreign oil, the Strait of Hormuz, or any outside power to keep its economy running.
His message was clear: America has its own energy, its own resources, and enough strength to stand on its own without being dragged into every foreign conflict or global crisis.
For decades, the Strait of Hormuz has been one of the most important oil routes on Earth. Whenever tensions rise there, markets panic, prices jump, and the world starts talking about war.
But Trump is now presenting a different argument. If America is truly energy independent, then why should it risk lives, money, and stability over oil routes it claims it no longer needs?
Whether you support him or not, the message is powerful: America should not be held hostage by foreign oil politics.
