Back then, dads worked hard and still made it home for dinner. Kids actually knew what it felt like to have both parents around without everyone being exhausted all the time.

Now it feels like people are working nonstop just to survive. Bigger bills, less time, fewer real friendships, and most parents barely get a moment to breathe.

In the early 90s, people were buying their first home at 27. Now some are hitting 40 before even getting a chance.

It’s not that younger generations “don’t want houses.”
It’s that starter homes now cost what luxury homes used to.

People aren’t lazy. They’re tired of being offered $12/hour, no benefits, no time off, and weekend shifts like that’s some amazing opportunity. Then everyone acts confused when workers walk away.

A lot of folks would rather protect their peace than burn out just to stay broke.
