TOMORROW! Join us for a celebration of q***r voices and community creativity! 📚🎨

The bookmobile will be in the park with a curated selection of LGBTQIA+ books and stories you can take home for free! 📚

We’ll also have a table to make your own zine! 🎨

💡 Zines have a long, radical history in LGBTQIA+ activism as a way for our community to share stories outside of the mainstream. We’ll provide all the supplies—paper, pens, scissors, and prompts—to help you craft, fold, and decorate your very own mini-magazine. ✂️🖌️ No “artist” experience required; just bring your imagination!

🪩 We’re honoring q***r history the best way we know how—by coming together as a community.

🌱🌈 Join us this Friday at Bella Abzug Park (aptly named after a fierce champion for civil rights) to connect, create, and kick off the month.

Let’s build something together. 💪🏼🫂 We’ll have happy hour drinks and food, plus a collaborative “art” project (no artistic “talent” required, we promise) to get the month started.

NOOO the spotted lantern flies are back 😭😭😭 but thankfully i was reading that native species have learned to recognize them and are starting to incorporate them into their diet so hopefully they don’t cause us too much trouble this year! i already lost a tree to them 🪾🪦❤️‍🩹
