As many of you probably know by now, Dr Elizabeth Stack, Executive Director of the American Irish Historical Society, was terminated shortly after St Patrick's Day. There is now a petition to try and have the board reinstate her. Please consider signing the petition to Reinstate Dr Elizabeth Stack at the American Irish Historical Society.

Just over 1 week until the AOH Fighting 69th Division 18 Peekskilll screens the Project Children Documentary "How to Defuse a Bomb"; an inspiring story of how Denis Mulcahy, a retired NYPD bomb squad officer, and a dedicated force of volunteers helped bring peace to Northern Ireland.

Enjoy a pre-screening meet and greet with Denis.

In conjunction with this screening will be an announcement of the 2025 Mulcahy Scholarship recipients, who will travel to Galway this summer to participate in the Celtic Irish American Academy.

AOH Fighting 69th Division #18 Peekskill in Collaboration with Project Childern would like to invite you to one of the very last screenings of the incredible story of Dennis Mulcahey and Project Childern's" How To Diffuse A Bomb'" before everything Project Children related is moved to it's new home a dedicated Museum in County Monaghan Ireland. Their dedication ceremony will take place in October.

Dennis Mulcahey's Project Childern brought over 23,000 under privileged Catholic and Protestant childern from The North Of Ireland to the USA during the troubles for the sumner months to stay with host familys to give them a reprieve form their everyday lives back home to be able to enjoy being a child, and to show them that they had more in common than they thought.

- The scholarship is delighted to offer American Junior or Senior high schools students aged 16 and over, an opportunity to travel to Galway, Ireland to participate in a two week Irish cultural program offered by the Celtic Irish American Academy from July 13 - July 26, 2025 (leaving the US on July 12)
