Sunnehanna Country Club was honored to host the 3rd Annual Servpro of Ebensburg / Servpro Team Weaver NE Regional Golf Tournament. It was a fantastic day of golf, fellowship, and philanthropy, all in support of the First Responders Children's Foundation.

Thank you to Serv Pro, participants, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event so special. We are proud to be part of an event that makes a lasting impact and supports such an important cause. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year!

Our team had a fantastic time at the Servpro of Ebensburg / Servpro Team Weaver NE Regional Golf Tournament at the beautiful Sunnehanna Country Club ! ⛳

We were excited to welcome FRCF Scholar, Legacy of Courage Honoree, and golf entrepreneur Patrick Lyons, who was recently recognized at our 25th Anniversary Gala for his remarkable achievements and inspiring journey.

When first responder families face hardship, timely support can make all the difference.

Last month, First Responders Children's Foundation provided 10 financial hardship and bereavement grants to families across 7 states, helping 21 children of first responders during challenging times.

Through our Financial Assistance Program, we are committed to ensuring first responder families feel seen, supported, and cared for when they need it most.

Today, we pause to remember a solemn chapter in our nation’s history and honor those we lost on September 11, 2001.

As we approach the 25th anniversary of the attacks of 9/11, we reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and resilience that emerged in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We remember this day in 2002, when the final steel column was removed from Ground Zero—a powerful symbol marking the end of recovery efforts at the World Trade Center site. Draped in an American flag and carried out in a dignified ceremony, the column stood as a tribute to the thousands of lives lost and the brave first responders who gave everything in the rescue and recovery mission.

At First Responders Children's Foundation, we are committed to preserving their legacy by supporting the children and families of first responders who continue to serve our communities with the same courage, selflessness, and dedication.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Thanks to the Baltimore Orioles and to FRCF Board Member Kerry Watson, the Higgins family had the unforgettable opportunity to take the field and throw out the first pitch at last night's game.

After hearing the Higgins family's story of the loss of late husband and father, Firefighter Lt. Christopher Higgins, our great partners at Servpro Team Holmes were inspired to step up and surprised them with a generous $10,000 grant to support their future.

We are deeply grateful to SERVPRO Team Holmes and the Orioles for their generosity and commitment to first responder families. ❤️💙
