The good news is that the work of the International Black Summit is all about who we are BEING!

You register into The Prerequisite of the International Black Summit during the 36th Annual Summit Event, held virtually on Thursday, August 6th, starting at 9:00am ET!

The Prerequisite Course is a one-day, intimate environment designed to prepare you "to create the space of listening to people authentically" - a powerful tool for your life - and also prepares you to fully participate in the International Black Summit as your partner in fulfilling your vision at the level you choose to participate in it.

The Course introduces you to a body of Summit Distinctions, our innovative technology uniquely created for People of Black African Descent

You’ll engage in some of the Annual Summit Questions and Declarations generated during our Annual Summit Events

You’ll engage in this year's 2025-2026 Annual Summit Event Inquiry: As I become intimate with the presence of I AM, I SURRENDER and ALLOW myself to break open and receive what is being envisioned through me NOW!!”

You’ll “Bump Up Against” and discover what’s in the way of you hearing what Life is telling you, and then taking action on what truly matters to you

There are now only 6 days before the start of the 36th International Black Summit Annual Summit Event (ASE), held virtually from Thursday, August 6 - Sunday, August 9, 2026!

In October 1991, over 100 Black people from different countries and cities came together in Atlanta, Georgia, to engage in a conversation that had been steadily growing and expanding for months now by old-school phone chains - one person calling another, who would then add another, and so on!

There soon came a time when the phone chain structure was no longer working, as people kept getting dropped off the calls. So participants saw a need to meet in person, which they did in Chicago, IL. It was during that gathering that participants agreed that a much larger gathering was now required to host this emerging conversation, and Atlanta was chosen.

What began as a conversation between two Black women about how to impact relationships between Black men and women, as more people joined, across the United States and more places, had become something much larger. A conversation about what it is to be Black!

This was our first inquiry at the gathering that birthed The Declaration!
