a week from today - next Friday
we gather for the 10th In My Mind Conference - can you believe it, 10 years?
In a world and in communities, including LGBTQIA+, where there are many still harboring racist views and attitudes to those who are different that they - their skin color, their country of origin, their ethnicity/cultures, their accent; and who still discriminates, shames, stigmatizes because of a person's sexual orientation and or gender identity/expression - this conference achieving 10 years wasn't an easy milestone.
Although a hard struggle - each year is different, we are grateful to those who spoke, presented, attended, volunteered, financially supported, and joined us as community partners. THANK YOU!
