Use AI to do the job you want, not just the one you have.
According to Microsoft's 2026 Work Trend Index, based on insights from 20,000 workers across 10 countries, 65% of AI users fear falling behind if they don't adapt quickly. However, 58% report that they are already producing work they couldn't have accomplished a year ago.
The workers in that 58% are not just completing their current tasks more efficiently; they are taking on larger projects. With AI, you can write with the authority of someone two levels above you, create presentations that clarify your thinking, and express ideas in meetings before others have a chance.
This week, challenge yourself: choose a skill you've never had—whether it's designing, building a dashboard, creating a slide deck, or coding—and ask your preferred AI platform to guide you through it. You don't need prior knowledge; that's the beauty of it.
