Xess and I went to Costa Rica to discover the beauty of cacao, nature, and the ingredients I want to source for my lifestyle brand Cabau. But the most special thing I found on this trip was something far more valuable than any product. It was the memory of us, together.

We slept in a little cabin without windows, listening to the sounds of nature all night, holding each other close. Moments so simple, yet so powerful. We prayed together when we got nervous for the flight with a mini plane. We were looking at each other smiling but we were so nerves. Adventured and moments we will never forget. 🙏🏼✨

One day, I want to be able to tell him that I chased my dreams, but never without him by my side. That while building a future, I never forgot to be present for the moments that truly matter.

This trip was about many things.. work, purpose, creation. But above all, it was about love, connection, and memories that will stay with us forever. ❤️

To me, He was the purest teacher who ever lived. 🤍Jesus.
He showed us that the way to God is through love, through forgiveness, and through the courage to keep our hearts open in a broken world. He reminded us that the Kingdom of God is within us.✨

19 March, the day I was born. 🎂✨

And the older I grow, the more I understand that life is not asking us to be perfect. It is asking us to become whole.
There was a time when I thought strength meant surviving, achieving, proving, carrying everything with grace. But with the years have learned that true strength is something softer and deeper. It is the courage to face yourself. To meet your light and your shadow. To forgive what once hurt you. To let pain become wisdom. And to let love become the center of
“your life again.
Growing older has become a sacred gift to me. Not because life gets easier but because have come to see more beauty in it all. In the breaking. In the healing. In the becoming.
Every year strips away another layer of who I thought I had to be and brings me closer to who I truly am.
So today I do not celebrate perfection. I celebrate growth. I celebrate resilience. I celebrate the silent battles that shaped me. The love that restored me. The purpose that keeps calling me higher. And the deep gratitude of still being here still learning, still loving, still becoming.
If there is one thing I wish for everyone reading this it is this: may you not be afraid of your own transformation. May you trust that even the hardest seasons can give birth to something beautiful within you. And may you remember that becoming yourself is one of the holiest journeys of all.
Thank you for walking with me, growing with me and sharing this life with me.

We are proud to share that, during United Nations Commission on the Status of Women week in New York, our founder Yolanthe Cabau received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the New York City Bar Association

“Yolanthe has been rescuing children from sexual exploitation for 18 years. It is rare to find such a profound level of commitment and involvement in this field. Her work goes beyond rescuing children; she is equally dedicated to prosecuting predators. This award recognizes everything she has achieved and serves as encouragement to continue the fight against this horrific problem.”

The evening’s theme focused on safety within the justice system, acknowledging that protecting children also means protecting the teams who work on the frontlines.

In her speech Yolanthe shared a powerful message with the audience.
“Today, receiving this recognition, I do not stand here alone. I stand here on behalf of every survivor. Every brave child. The whole Free a Girl team. Every social worker. Every undercover investigator. Every partner on the ground. Every donor. Every person who refuses to look away. Our work has just begun .”
