This Holiday Season, Transform a Life Like Karla's

Karla's dream of becoming a veterinarian was in jeopardy when her family struggled to cover her university expenses. Everything changed when she received a scholarship through Becas Nonualco, covering her studies and giving her a chance to succeed.

Pazitos is proud to partner with Becas Nonualco, a program that goes beyond financial assistance. By offering community projects, field trips, and workforce preparation workshops, the program empowers students with skills and confidence for life after graduation.

Karla is a shining example of its impact. Once shy, she developed leadership and professional skills through the program and fulfilled her dream of becoming a veterinary professional. Shortly after graduating in 2021, she secured employment as a medical assistant at a veterinary clinic, making her and her family proud.

🌿🌊 Exploring El Chorrerón Waterfalls: A Spring Break Adventure! 🌞🌴

This past spring break, 15 of our scholarship recipients, along with some of their parents, embarked on a journey of discovery to El Chorrerón Waterfalls, nestled approximately 12 km from San Pedro Nonualco.

Under the thoughtful guidance of our dedicated scholarship coordinator, Rolando, this outing wasn't just a mere excursion—it was a meticulously planned opportunity to foster integration and learning among our students.

Rolando's vision extends far beyond providing scholarships; he understands the transformative power of exploration and discovery. By delving into the historical and hydrographic significance of the waterfall, our students didn't just observe nature—they connected with it on a deeper level, gaining invaluable insights along the way.

We are immensely grateful for Rolando's unwavering dedication to our scholars. His efforts enrich their lives in ways that extend far beyond the classroom, nurturing their curiosity and igniting their passion for learning.

Pazitos is a 100% volunteer run organization. We have dedicated people in El Salvador and the US, along with the support of our donors, that make it all possible.

A small percentage of donations is used for operating expenses, such as website maintenance and banking fees.

94% of donations went directly to our programs - high school and university scholarships - and soccer programs.

We are grateful for the trust you have in us. We would not be able to change the lives of so many youth in El Salvador without your support.

We are touched by Rene’s message and want to share with all of you who make it possible to offer scholarships to students in El Salvador.

Rene was a high school scholarship recipient from 2021 to 2023. He graduated in 2023 from high school with an Accounting concentration.

He is currently attending a Technical Institute (Instituto Tecnológico) and majoring in Global Logistics. Before taking the bus at 5:30 AM to make a 7 AM class, Rene and his brother go out at dawn to sell baked goods. This extra income helps them cover the costs of books, school supplies, and other expenses.

We echo Rene’s message and are grateful to all our supporters. Your support truly changes lives and leads to economic mobility for families.
