PTSD is often invisible, but its impact is real. Approximately 6 in every 100 people will experience it in their lifetime.

This PTSD Awareness Month, we recognize the importance of creating communities where people feel safe and understood β€” not judged or isolated.

At Clubhouses 🏠 around the world, members find spaces that promote true healing and belonging. Recovery is not linear, and no one should have to go through it alone.

What does a supportive community look like to you?

🌈 This Pride Month, we celebrate the strength, dignity, and authenticity of LGBTQIA+ members of the Clubhouse International community.

At Clubhouse International, we believe belonging is essential to recovery and that every person deserves a place where they are seen and supported exactly as they are.

Together, we continue building Clubhouses that affirm identity, foster connection, and create opportunity for all.

Building bridges globally 🌎

Rainbow Clubhouse in Ireland recently welcomed students from Penn State in the USA for a special international visit focused on shared learning and mental health recovery.

Now in its third year, the growing connection between the university and the Clubhouse highlights the global impact of the Clubhouse Model and the importance of community-based mental health support rooted in belonging and connection.

These exchanges create valuable opportunities to share ideas, strengthen mental health support and raise awareness about the recovery-focused Clubhouse solution among young adults.

Thank you to everyone involved in continuing to build bridges across the Clubhouse International community. πŸ’š

🌈 Rainbow Clubhouse, were delighted to welcome students from Penn State University visiting us from the USA to Ireland for their third year in a row.

It was a great example of Ireland meeting the USA through shared learning, connection, and a common commitment to mental health recovery. We were proud to share the Clubhouse Model and the importance of community, belonging, and hope in recovery-focused mental health support.

A big thank you to the students for joining usβ€”we value this growing international partnership and look forward to continuing it. πŸ’š Clubhouse International - ICCD

What an incredible day at the Clubhouse Michigan Employment Celebration.

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing Clubhouse members, employment partners, state legislators, and Governor Whitmer for recognizing and supporting the life changing work happening across Michigan.

The stories shared reminded us that Clubhouse members are the heart of everything we do. From long standing employment success stories to inspiring partnerships with local businesses, the power of meaningful work and community was on full display.

We are especially grateful to our employment partners who continue to create opportunities where people are truly needed, wanted, and expected. Thank you to every Clubhouse, employer, advocate, and leader helping make employment a reality for so many.

Together, we are building stronger communities, changing lives, and advancing the Clubhouse movement across Michigan and beyond.

Sunday reminder πŸ’š

Recovery is not something people should have to navigate alone.

Across the Clubhouse International community, members find spaces where they are supported and encouraged to build meaningful relationships, pursue goals, and rediscover purpose.

Sometimes, simply having a place to belong can make all the difference.

What’s one thing that helps you feel connected and supported?

Conversations around mental health are becoming more common, especially with younger generations. In the US, 87% agree that having a mental health disorder is not shameful and 53% of GenZ have received professional therapy.

While the open dialogue shows we are making progress, there are still significant treatment and funding gaps around the globe. And these gaps are significantly larger depending where you live.

We dive into this data while making a strong case for why the Clubhouse Model is an effective and economical solution to this global crisis.

Happy 32nd Birthday πŸŽ‚ to us!

The truth is today is not really about us. It's about all the Clubhouses 🏠 we've helped open and/or support these past 32 years. It's also about the members πŸ§”β€β™‚οΈ πŸ‘© whose lives have forever been changed by the Clubhouse Model that makes recovery from mental illness possible. That's why we exist!
