New York Cosmopolitan Lion's Club Our club was founded in 1987 and we are based in Chinatown in Manhattan. It was organized on July 28th, 1980 with 22 members. Charles B.

The New York Cosmopolitan Lions Club was formally “The Lioness Club of New York Chinese American” sponsored by the Lions Club of New York Chinese American. In 1987, the International Association made an amendment to the constitution and all Lioness Clubs became known as Lions Clubs. The New York Chinese American Lioness Club was reorganized on June 30, 1987, with 44 members as a Lions Club. Member

s chose the name New York Cosmopolitan Lions Club to reflect the various ethnic composition of the club. Presently we have 35 members with five members from the branch club. We meet on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 1:00 P.M. Wang Community Health Center
