Every year between Yom HaShoah and Yom Ha'atzmaut, we at the World Zionist Organization hold a festive event of reading Megillat Ha'atzmaut at the Egalitarian Kotel.
We broadcast it live in different languages to the whole Jewish world. This is our way to celebrate Israel’s independence and it strengthens our sense of Jewish peoplehood in Israel and abroad.

Shazur is a growing nonprofit working to build bridges between Israeli and American Jews, connecting leaders and communities through dialogue, education, and shared experiences.
We’re looking for a go-getter – someone smart, proactive, curious, and hungry to succeed. A person we can count on to take full ownership of tasks without constant oversight.
This is a dynamic role that includes project coordination, support for fundraising, partnership management, event planning, writing, and general operations. You don’t need experience in all areas – just the right attitude, the ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and take initiative.

Tonight's the night!
At 9:30 PM the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation (Kan 11) will air “The New Jew: A War Film”- an epilogue to the acclaimed TV miniseries starring Guri Alfi, created by Shazur's very own Moshe Samuels. Produced by Assaf Nawi from Nawipro productions, this powerful series explores the impact of October 7th on American Jewry. The production brings together some of Shazur's leading partners: the Ruderman Family Foundation, the Gesher Film Fund, the Word Zionist Organization, the Z3 Project from Palo Alto JCC, and of course - Shazur.
