As we get closer and closer to this year’s Gala, we’re reminded of why this evening means so much to us.

For 18 years, the APJ Gala has brought our community together in support of education, opportunity and a brighter future for young people in Haiti.

It’s a night to celebrate the incredible impact made possible by our supporters, while looking ahead to all that we can continue to accomplish together.

In just a few weeks, we’ll come together once again to celebrate 18 years of hope, community and meaningful change. 🤍

Behind every statistic is a child with dreams, potential, and a future worth investing in. ❤️

Today, an estimated 2.6 million children in Haiti are in need of humanitarian assistance, facing challenges that impact their access to education, safety, and opportunity.

At Artists for Peace and Justice, we believe education is one of the most powerful tools for creating lasting change. Through our programs in Haiti, we continue to support young people by helping provide access to quality education and opportunities that empower communities for generations to come.

Together, we can help build a future where every child has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive. 🇭🇹

A huge congratulations to Academy for Peace and Justice graduate Williams Osias on the release of his very first single! 🎉🎶

It’s inspiring to see William following his passion and pursuing his dreams. His dedication to music is an inspiring example of the creativity and passion that continues to grow within our APJ community. We’re so excited to celebrate this incredible milestone and see William share his talent with the world.

Watching our students pursue their dreams beyond the classroom is what it’s all about. Seeing our graduates thrive and make their mark in the world is the greatest reward. 💙

Today marks Father’s Day in Haiti. This Father’s Day, we’re recognizing the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, teachers, and father figures whose support helps shape strong futures and resilient communities across Haiti.

From quiet sacrifices to everyday encouragement, their impact is felt in countless ways both at home and beyond the classroom. Today, we celebrate the guidance, care, and leadership they bring to the next generation.

Wishing a meaningful Father’s Day to all those who show up with love, strength, and support.

Every seat at our gala helps shape a future.

Behind every student is a story of resilience, potential, and possibility. By coming together in support of education and opportunity for the youth in Haiti, we are investing in the next generation of leaders, artists, changemakers, and dreamers.

The future of Haiti is already full of talent, ambition, and creativity. Our role is to continue opening doors so those futures have the opportunity to thrive.

Today, UN Secretary-General António Guterres arrived in Haiti on a solidarity visit, meeting with communities impacted by the country’s ongoing humanitarian and security crisis.

His visit comes as international attention is once again turning toward Haiti. During his visit, he met with local leaders, communities on the ground, and members of the newly deployed Gang Suppression Force, which he described as an important step toward restoring safety and stability.

His message to the world is simple: do not look away.

At Artists for Peace and Justice, we continue to stand with the people of Haiti and believe that long-term change comes from sustained attention, support, and investment in the country’s future.

We stand with Haiti. 🇭🇹
