I'm realizing that we have been posting mostly on Instagram. So we've got some catching up to do. Bear with me as we document what's been going on. We supported our partners at Berkeley College by attending "Catwalk & Conversations". They featured their past Designers in Residence, Chuks Collins, Kibonen Nfi, and highlighted the newest, Bach Mai. The Fashion show featured garments from all three & was fabulous, and the conversations were heartfelt & informative. The students & everyone in attendance were very engaged. Pamela Macklin made mention of the Essence 55th Anniversary issue, which she styled for Susan Taylor, where the golden dress I'm showing here was designed by "Chuks Collins! Many Thanks to Fashion Dept. Chair Andrea Kennedy for inviting us! FAX- is currently working with the Berkeley students as Internship & workshop opportunities arise with Businesses in the Fashion Industry.
