Today, The Celebration Impact honored Mr. Augustus on his birthday. A resident of the nursing home for nearly four years, Mr. Augustus has faced health challenges —he’s been on dialysis for 13 years. Happy Birthday, Mr. Augustus! 🎉

Today, my co-worker’s beautiful little girls joined us to celebrate Ms. Kathy’s 71st birthday! When we arrived, she was sleeping. I tried a couple of times to wake her, but she remained asleep. It seemed like she wasn’t having the best day. After a few attempts, I explained why we were there and wished her a very happy birthday. Happy 71st Birthday, Ms. Kathy! 💙🙏🏽

Today, we celebrated Mr. Kelmy’s 59th birthday! Mr. Kelmy was born in Orlando and later relocated to Pennsylvania. Nine years ago, he returned to Orlando, where he has remained ever since. He has never been married and does not have any children. Throughout his career, Mr. Kelmy worked as a cook before later becoming an RV technician. He has been a resident of the nursing home for the past two years. Today Mr. Kelmy enjoyed eating pizza and wings, and his brother is planning to take him out to a restaurant tomorrow to continue the birthday celebration. Happy 59th Birthday, Mr. Kelmy! 🎉🎂

Today we celebrated Ms. Carolyn’s 80th birthday! Originally from Apopka, Florida, Ms. Carolyn dedicated her early years to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. For the past seven years, she’s been a cherished member of the nursing home community. Happy Birthday, Ms. Carolyn! 🎉💐

Today, we celebrated Ms. Theresa’s 73rd birthday! This is the fifth birthday we’ve celebrated with her. Ms. Theresa was born and raised in Winter Garden and has been a resident of the nursing home for 13 years. After suffering a back injury, she has continued to be positive. She has two sons—one who lives in Miami and the other in Atlanta. Recently, when she became ill, her son from Miami came down to be with her. Ms. Theresa is scheduled to undergo another surgery tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Happy 73rd Birthday, Ms. Theresa!🙏🏽🎈

Today, we celebrated Ms. Darlene’s 70th birthday. She was born in Pittsburgh and, never married or had children. She worked in data entry before moving to the nursing home, where she has been a resident for the past year. She lives with Parkinson’s disease. Over the weekend, her niece hosted a birthday celebration for her and invited all of her friends from the nursing home. I was honored to be her only visitor today. Happy 70th birthday, Ms. Darlene!

Today, The Celebration Impact had the pleasure of celebrating Mr. Willie’s 66th birthday! Born in Georgia, Mr. Willie was just one year old when his family relocated to Orlando. Throughout his life, he has been married, raised two sets of twins, earned a black belt in karate, and shared his creativity as an artist. Following a car accident in 2001. He has been a resident of this home for five years. Today, Mr. Willie was surrounded by his friends in the activity area as they prepared to enjoy a dance performance. Everyone joined together to wish him a very special Happy Birthday! Happy 66th Birthday, Mr. Willie!

Today, we celebrated Ms. Debra’s 70th birthday! She has been a resident of the nursing home for one year. Before that, she proudly worked for Orange County Public Schools, serving in many different locations and holding a variety of positions throughout her career. Happy 70th Birthday Ms. Debra!

Today, the girls joined me in celebrating Mr. Lenford's birthday. Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, Mr. Lenford is partially blind. He knew today was his birthday, but he couldn't remember the year he was born. With no relatives in the Orlando area, we were especially grateful to help make his day a little brighter. Happy Birthday, Mr. Lenford!
