Today we celebrate the Feast of Saint Mary the Virgin, Mother of Our Lord and a faithful witness of prayer, courage and love. 🙏🏼

“All these were constantly devoting themselves to prayer, together with certain women, including Mary the mother of Jesus.”

Today we celebrate the Transfiguration of our Lord Jesus Christ, when His divine glory was revealed to His disciples on Mount Tabor.

This feast reminds us that the light of Christ continues to transform all who seek Him with faith, prayer, and love.

May the radiance of the Transfigured Lord fill your heart with hope, strengthen your faith, and guide your path.

Blessed Feast of the Transfiguration!

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

Today we give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy and remember the responsibility that comes with them.

As followers of Christ, we pray for a nation where liberty is joined with justice, where diversity is embraced and where every person is treated with dignity and respect.

May God continue to guide our leaders, strengthen our communities and inspire us to be instruments of peace, compassion and hope.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”
Psalm 33:12

The Georgian Library at the Georgian Episcopal Mission, in cooperation with Women Club NY, hosted a teleconference dedicated to empowering and increasing the engagement of Georgian youth and students in the USA.
The main goal of the meeting was to support young people and discuss the opportunities they need for their development in America.

’sclubNY

Juneteenth ❤️🖤💚

Today we commemorate Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and honors the long struggle for freedom, dignity and justice.

As people of faith, we remember that liberation is at the heart of the Gospel. In Christ, chains are broken, the oppressed are lifted up and hope is restored. May we continue building Beloved Community where every person is seen, valued and free.

“For freedom Christ has set us free.”
Galatians 5:1 ❤️🖤💚
