IAC Atlanta is Expanding Its Impact! 🚀💙
We are thrilled to share that our mission to empower Jewish and Israeli-American teens is reaching new heights! Recently, we brought our unique programming to Gwinnett, and the energy was incredible.
What went down?
• The Escape Room Challenge: The teens dove into a high-stakes, teamwork-driven experience that tested their problem-solving skills and creativity. 🗝️🧠
• Inspiring Dialogue: We held an enriching and thought-provoking joint discussion with the local Rabbi, bridging fun with deep, meaningful content about identity and community. 🔯✨
It was truly rewarding to see the teens so engaged and excited to have this experience in their own neighborhood. At IAC Atlanta, we are committed to showing up wherever our youth are, building their resilience, and fostering a deep sense of belonging. 🛡️

Magen Day at The Weber School, Atlanta! 🛡️💙
Today, we met 60 inspiring teens for a day dedicated to resilience, identity, and pride.

From a challenging escape room that tested their teamwork to deep discussions on our reality and practical tools for self-confidence – these students proved that our next generation is stronger than ever.

The sense of belonging and connection in the room was the best answer we could have asked for. 🇮🇱🇺🇸

staff at The Weber School for your amazing collaboration and for making this day possible!

We’re already looking forward to returning next week for our Talk Israel workshop! 🎤

Today, we enjoyed a special session at Keshet together with the 9th graders from
Shevet Lavie

The teens led an activity for the kids about Israeli inventions.
The meeting included team games and competitions inspired by innovation:
📍 We navigated and guided each other just like in Waze.
💧 We saw firsthand how a drip irrigation system works.
🍅 And we discovered the interesting story behind the development of cherry tomatoes.

It was wonderful to see the connection between the children and the young counselors, who gained hands-on leadership experience as part of their training at the Shevet Lavie.

Not everyone knows the name Ran Gvili.
Ran was an Israeli police special forces officer, one of the first to fight on October 7.
After being shot, he was kidnapped to Gaza, where he later died from his wounds.
Ran is the last hostage whose body has not yet been returned.
The last one who needs to come home for burial, for dignity, for peace.
His mother, Tallic Gvili, and his sister Shiri, will be with us at the Summit.
For more than two and a half years, the IAC community has worked tirelessly to keep the truth alive,
raising awareness, protesting, speaking out, refusing to let the world forget.
And now, as much of the world moves on,
and some even dare to deny that October 7 ever happened,
we have another chance.
To show up in numbers.
To say his name out loud: Ran Gvili.
To stand together, pray together, and support his family.
This will be seen.
This will be heard.
Because this Summit is not just another event.
Not just a concert.
Not just a conference.
It is a moment of collective responsibility.
A moment that matters.
A moment that will be remembered.
We need our community there.

We carry in our hearts Master Sgt. Ran Gvili z"l, the one remaining hostage in Gaza, and pray and hope for his release.

We look forward to gathering soon at the Summit, reconnecting as a community, and starting the year together with purpose and unity. 💙

🕎 The story of Hanukkah is the 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑱𝒆𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕: the 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒍 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒖𝒑, the 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅, and the faith that a 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒆 𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝒐𝒇 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒂 𝒎𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒍𝒆.

This year, our candles feel even more meaningful, illuminating our resilience and unity. In the shadow of horrific terror in Sydney, Australia, we light our Hanukkah candles as an act of strength and defiance. Hanukkah reminds us that even in the face of darkness and hatred, our light endures.

We hold space in our hearts for Master Sgt. Ran Gvili z"l, the last hostage remaining in Gaza, and we continue to shine a steady light for our people, our safety, and our shared future. 🎗️
