To those on Staten Island and the southern part of Brooklyn, I humbly ask that you write in my name for Congress. You know me as pro Constitution, individualism, fiscal responsibility and open to helping everyone voluntarily. The position of a Representative in Congress was designed for the average person to carry the views of their neighbors to Washington DC. This was never intended to be a position reserved just for lawyers, cronies and politically connected. The term was designed for only 2 years so that others may also serve. Lawyers and career politicians have corrupted the process and the institution known as the US Congress.

We saw "Sound of Freedom" last night and there was nothing remotely political or paranoid in it. There was a huge crowd at our showing vs the few that were at other recent films that we saw this year. People actually cheered the good guys and gasped at what was being done to the kids. Get other people to it, even if you have to buy them a ticket. Evil flees when good people rise up, first with awareness and then with action. Stay past the credits for a special message.

Farewell to Barry (N2SHP) who was a member of NYC-ARECS and was the Assistant DEC for NYC during the 1990s. He will be missed as he goes of into the wild blue yonder.

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Capt Barry Schwartz due to complications from an illness he contracted while serving at the Ground Zero site following the 9/11 attack.

Barry was a valued member of the New York City Group and the Wing. He recently completed the virtual Region Staff College, which would’ve led to his much-deserved promotion to Major. Barry most recently served as the Communications Officer at both the unit and Group level, and was a former Squadron Commander.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
