CONGRATULATIONS: New Job and apartment and kidney, oh my!
Our longtime client James got a job, and thanks to a generous donor, James also has a souped up Alienware laptop so he can train via zoom while doing dialysis three days a week, and then work remotely on the days he has to be at the hospital.
James also got a NEW APARTMENT which he moves in to on December 15th, at which time he will be eligible to get a kidney transplant, which he's been waiting years to get. Stable housing was the final requirement and doctors anticipate a late December/early January date for that.
James is such an incredibly smart and dynamic young man. We could not be prouder or happier to help him on his journey and help him move past homelessness and uncertainty.
Next step is to assist James with furnishings for his new pad, which thanks to one of our corporate sponsors is something we are ready, able and excited to do!
