The flash floods and mudslides along the Nepal-Tibet border have taken lives, displaced families, and devastated communities we care deeply about. As an organization working alongside women in Nepal's remote, climate-vulnerable communities, we see firsthand how a warming climate is making disasters like this more frequent and more severe, and how much resilience it takes to rebuild when it happens.
We're thinking of everyone searching for missing loved ones, and of the families now facing loss, displacement, and an uncertain road ahead.
