Genesis Inter-Community Group, Inc.

We provide aid for our community by helping organizations and our youth as a 501(c)(3) faith-based, nonprofit. With the community in mind, Genesis Inter-Community Group, Inc. (GICG) saw what was necessary in the lives of our people and decided to take the initiative in improving their situation. During GICG's early years of operation, we were faced with a humbling experience when a young girl of 1

1 required help to cope with the loss of her father. With eyes open and a new sense of purpose filling our being, we continued forth, providing a voice for the voiceless. Providing charity for children warms our hearts, and seeing the results of our actions and knowing we are truly making a difference gives us the drive to continue moving forward and improving the lives of so many others. In addition to working with our community, we have started working with funds2Orgs shoe collection to expand upon how we help our fellow man as a nonprofit organization. Forming a synergistic relationship, we help one another by providing shoes to those who need them, as well as raising the funds necessary to cover our goals. Through the education of health, cultural history, cultural pride, and more, we give people what they need to truly live happy lives within New York City.
