Across the pond. Back to the rehearsal room. 🇬🇧🎭
This summer, our practitioner team travelled to the UK to invest in one thing: creating an even richer experience for the young artists of Chickenshed NYC.
In London, they collaborated with composers Jo Collins(co-founder of Chickenshed UK), Liz Kitchen, and Francis Haines to write and record original music for our upcoming production of Twelfth Night, even sharing a staged reading with a live audience.
Then it was on to Stratford-upon-Avon, where they worked with Chris White, Director for Education at the Royal Shakespeare Company, exploring new ways to bring Shakespeare to life through Chickenshed NYC’s inclusive approach.
New music. New ideas. New inspiration. All coming home to our rehearsal rooms this Fall.
