The glorious history of Mighty, Mighty Pack 61 began in December 1955, when Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church was granted a charter by the Boy Scouts of America. Over the years, many young people have been members of our pack and grown up to become pillars of their communities. We are proud to accept both boys and girls as members of our pack. We serve young people from kindergarten age through fi

fth grade. Our program aims to instill character, personal fitness, citizenship and leadership into our Scouts with the ultimate goal of seeing them grow up to become adults who make sound moral and ethical decisions based on the values taught by Scouting. Our values are those found in the Scout Oath and Law and include duty to God and country, duty to others and duty to self. We want all our Scouts to do their best, so they can become the best version of themselves. Our classroom is the outdoors. Our Scouts engage in hands-on learning of valuable life skills, but don’t tell them. They think they are just having fun. We have been recognized as a Gold Journey to Excellence pack by the Boy Scouts of America since 2019! If you’re looking for a year-round program that will keep your child engaged and active, we encourage you to get in touch with us!
